Ampac Acquires Tamper-evident Security Bag Business from Sealed Air

CINCINNATI, Ohio—Ampac Packaging LLC has acquired Sealed Air Corporation’s Trigon Security Products business and related assets in North America and Europe. The transaction includes the purchase of assets from operations located in Kent, WA and Melbourn, UK.

The purchase includes the KeepSafe Gold, Silver and Bronze security bag product line which is used by financial institutions, armored carriers and retailers for the depositing and shipping of cash, checks and other valuables. The acquisition of the KeepSafe brand adds a patented thermochromic ink closure to Ampac’s already robust security bag offerings.
