Later this year, Superior Litho's pressroom will increase its output with a new seven-color, 64″ Koenig & Bauer Rapida 164 offset press. The new press will expand Superior Litho's capabilities and capacity in the folding carton segment.

Massilly North America Inc., a global metal packaging manufacturing and distribution company, is investing in its first new Koenig & Bauer MetalStar 3 metal decorating press. The new MetalStar press, which will be installed at the firm’s 250,000 sq.-ft.-facility, will handle the bulk of Massilly’s printing work.

Marshall & Bruce, a Nashville, Tenn.-based printing and packaging company, has transitioned its business from commercial to include packaging. The addition of a seven-color, 41" Koenig & Bauer Rapida 106, has helped that transition.

With two of the current Speedmaster presses aging at its Bloomington, Ill., location, Curtis 1000 recently installed a new Speedmaster XL 106-8P+L with both LED & Mercury UV curing to increase its capacity and capabilities as well as enhance its speed-to-market.
