Nilpeter has announced the launch of the FA-26, a 26" in-line flexo press for the flexible packaging segment. The press implements many of the same facets of Nilpeter's label printing platform, making for a highly-automated flexible packaging solution.
Expanding opportunities and technological advancements have led narrow-web printers to grow beyond labels, and into flexible packaging and shrink sleeves.
Dion Label Printing signed on for a third MPS flexo press during the MPS Open House held in January in Philadelphia. The MPS EFA+ 430 will provide multiple substrate capabilities, increased automation, and LED curing.

AICC hosted a recent seminar on best practices in flexographic printing. The two-day event was held at the PrintCon Center at Clemson University, and featured intensive training on all aspects of flexographic printing from a variety of industry experts.
More than 130 visitors made their way to St. Gallen, Switzerland, on Feb. 6 for the Gallus Open Day event, which showcased the latest developments in the company's Labelfire and Labelmaster printing platforms. The event included product demonstrations and an expert forum, which covered topics including low migration and digital white applications.
To celebrate its new North American headquarters, MPS hosted an open house event on Wednesday, Jan. 22, at its new facility in Levittown, Pa. In addition to unveiling the Philadelphia-area Technology & Expertise Center, the event featured updates and presentations from MPS executives, customers, and partners.
Mark Andy is debuting the Evolution Series full servo press during Labelexpo this week. The Evolution Series is available in 13˝ and 17˝ web widths with production speeds up to 750 fpm.
During Labelexpo this week, Xeikon is participating in the Flexible Packaging Arena and presenting its new fleXflow for stand-up pouch production, which is one of four of Xeikon’s full production lines at the show.
