Dion Label Purchases Third MPS Flexo Press

During the Grand Opening of MPS North America’s new Technology & Expertise Center in Philadelphia, MPS North America and Dion Label Printing advanced close ties when the deal for the new MPS EFA+ press was signed.

The MPS North America and Dion Label teams together at the MPS grand opening event in Philadelphia.

John Dion, President of Dion Label Printing said: “As a leader in the narrow web printing industry with both digital and flexographic printing capabilities, we continuously strive to deliver the highest quality service and product while pushing to innovate. With the addition of this MPS EFA+ 430 multi-substrate press, our aim is to keep our technology up to date and enabling greater capacity and diversity in our product offerings. This press offers greater automation and LED curing capabilities.”

The partnership between Dion Label Printing and MPS began in 2008 with the purchase of an EF 410 with special functionality of interchangeable mandrel sizes. The same technology was applied on their second press, an EF 430.

The sale was led by Michael Weyermann, VP of Sales and Marketing at MPS Systems North America. Weyermann said, “We are thankful for Dion Label Printing’s continued trust in MPS, and we are looking forward to further extending our strong partnership that’s lasted over a decade already.”
