Domino continues to grow its digital printing business, and has announced four new hires to its installations and service teams. Chris Elsmore, Kevin Bailes, Scott Freebersyser, and Bob Becker have all joined the Domino team.

During the virtual Digital Packaging Summit, held Dec. 1-3, 2020, three adopters of the technology shared their experiences with single-pass digital corrugated production, and the impact it has had on their companies and the brands they serve.

A brand-new video has been created to provide a sneak peek of what to expect during a Virtual Demonstration from Domino. The live Virtual Demonstrations offer an up-close look at world-class digital printing solutions from the comfort and safety of the workplace or home.

The new any-JET II, powered by Memjet inkjet printing technology, offers in-line finishing capabilities, 1600x1600 DPI high-resolution lamination, and custom label shapes and sizes with laser diecutting.

The new collaboration between BOBST and SEI Laser will develop and commercialize worldwide digital laser cutting solutions for the labels, flexible packaging, folding carton, and corrugated board industries. Additionally, BOBST has announced the acquisition of the remaining 49.9% in Mouvent AG to reinforce the development of its printing portfolio.

Seeking to fulfill its company cornerstones of quality, value, time to market, and service, Aptech Graphics of North Providence, R.I. invested in a Mouvent LB701-UV digital press. Aptech has achieved multiple benefits since becoming an early adopter of the technology.

Joshua Brunn has been promoted to the position of digital printing project manager for Domino Digital Printing. Following a 20-year career in the U.S. Navy, Brunn joined Domino in 2015 in the Coding and Marking group, transitioning to the Digital Printing group in 2017.

Epson announced the SurePress L-6534VW digital LED-UV inkjet label press and the GM ECON finisher are now available in a bundle with special pricing under promotional terms.

In a broadcast from the company's headquarters in Cambridge, U.K., Domino provided an in-depth look at its new inkjet label press, the Domino N730i. In addition to insights from the Domino team, attendees saw the press in action at its first install site.

Matt Bennett has joined Fujifilm North America Corporation, Graphic Systems Division, as VP of global strategy and business development for packaging. He will be responsible for developing the product roadmap and global go-to market strategy for packaging, focusing on digital solutions.
