In today's episode of POW!, we're diving into the sustainability categories from the 2020 Packaging Impressions Excellence Awards. Inland Packaging received First Place in the Sustainability: Labels category for its label for Great Value Hydrate Electrolyte Water, which utilizes Pure Wash, which enables easier recycling of plastic bottles.
Bacardi and Danimer Scientific have announced a collaboration through which Bacardi will launch a 100% biodegradable spirits bottle by 2023. The new bottle will replace 80 million plastic bottles – 3,000 tons of plastic – currently produced by Bacardi across its portfolio of brands every year.
