PMMI and NPTA Alliance Launch DistriPak Pavilion at PACK EXPO
CHICAGO, Ill.—The DistriPak Pavilion will make its PACK EXPO International debut this fall, announced PACK EXPO organizer and producer, Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute (PMMI, www.pmmi.org). The pavilion is sponsored by NPTA Alliance (formerly the National Paper Trade Association). It will take place from October 31-November 3 at McCormick Place, in Chicago.
“The trends affecting the paper, packaging, and supplies distribution industry impact PACK EXPO attendees and exhibitors across the board,” says Charles D. Yuska, president and CEO of PMMI. “PACK EXPO is committed to addressing trends that impact the entire packaging and processing supply chain.”
NPTA Alliance represents the paper, packaging, and supplies distribution industry. Its members serve manufacturers in every segment, including electronics; food and beverage/wine; bakery and snack; cosmetics and toiletries; dairy; pharmaceutical; chemical; candy and confection; and paper and textiles.
PACK EXPO will feature 1,600 suppliers exhibiting over 1 million square feet of space, and PMMI expects 45,000 packaging and processing professionals to attend.
“PMMI is actively pursuing partnerships like this one with NPTA Alliance because they provide an extra layer of depth for attendees. It’s all part of offering attendees the opportunity to address every aspect of their production line needs,” Yuska says.
“Because NPTA Alliance will be at PACK EXPO International 2010, distributors and end users will get a chance to connect with distribution firms and each other,” says Newell Holt, NPTA Alliance CEO. “Attendees will benefit from a new avenue for finding the leading industrial packaging distributors and machinery and materials manufacturers who sell through the distribution channel. For exhibitors, it’s a way to reach end user and distributor senior executives and purchasing decision makers of highly-qualified prospects.”
