As legend has it, before it became a leading label and flexible packaging printer and converter, ownership of Gintzler International was once bet on in a 1930s poker game.
Talk about a high stakes hand.
Gintzler may have a quirky past, but through strategic expansion and growth, the company's future looks bright. This year, Gintzler is commemorating 100 years in business and with the centennial celebration on the horizon, packagePRINTING caught up with CEO Bryan Scheible to find out what's in store for the company. In addition to the exciting installation of its third Gallus ECS 340 flexo press, Gintzler's anniversary plans include:
- Partnering with Re-Tree WNY by planting trees in Buffalo, N.Y., on Arbor Day.
- Holding a blood drive in an effort to donate 100 pints of blood.
- Giveaways and celebrations with customers and employees.
- Partnering with the Make-A-Wish Foundation with donations and a charity event.
- Food drives and participating in a festival of tree
