ABB has been awarded a major contract by NatureWorks, the world’s leading manufacturer of polylactic acid (PLA), a low-carbon bioplastic made from renewable agricultural resources, to automate its new, greenfield plant in Thailand, converting sugar cane to the polylactic acid (PLA) biopolymer, Ingeo.

Messe Düsseldorf Asia and joint organizers The Thai Packaging Association and The Thai Printing Association announced the move of PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL to the later part of 2022. The trade fair is now scheduled for Oct. 19-22, 2022 at BITEC in Bangkok, Thailand.
