When Die Design Matters

Sometimes an ordinary cutting die works fine and can get your job to market. But a die not properly designed for the specific application can be costly. Poor die design can cause long make readies, sticking and stripping issues, and decreased efficiency – as one converter recently learned. His finishing issues were costing him $20,000 a day. Quickly correcting his problem relied on a die supplier with the know-how to design dies for each unique job.
