West Coast Labels Elevates Production With Durst RSC Technology

When considering significant capital investments, companies are faced with an overwhelming number of questions. Will this help me now? What about 10 years from now? Who am I partnering with? Is this investment actually worth it? These are all questions West Coast Labels (WCL), a British Columbia-based labels company asked themselves in late 2024 when looking to enhance their production. Durst was the answer across the board.

Durst’s reputation for durable equipment and strong technical support made them a desirable candidate for partnership. When it came to the equipment itself, WCL had very specific requirements. “We were looking for a machine that could deliver exceptional print quality, consistency, and efficiency — especially for short- and medium-run jobs where turnaround speed is critical. Our must-haves included high resolution, colour accuracy, material versatility, and ease of use for our operators,” said Raeanna Joyner, Office Manager, WCL. The RSCi offers industrial-level productivity with speeds up to 100 m/min (328 ft./min) and 1,200 dpi technology.
