Martin Automatic to Exhibit New Splicer at Labelexpo America

ROCKFORD, Ill.—Martin Automatic will be debuting its new MBSC splicer in combination with the STR rewinder at Labelexpo America, Chicago Ill., September 14-16 in booth 811. The new Martin Automatic MBSC/STR combo provides roll automation for narrow-web label presses for around $100,000.

The MBSC shares the same operator and time savings convenience features as Martin’s MBS splicer; however, the MBSC has been specifically designed for narrower web widths up to 13 inches (330 mm) and smaller roll diameters up to 31.5 inches (800 mm). Running at speeds up to 500 fpm, the new MBSC/STR combo is a practical upgrade that can boost productivity and reduces materials waste. Designed for retrofit and new installations, the MBSC/STR combo can be shipped within six weeks of order.
