GEW to Exhibit UV Curing Solutions at PRINTING United
UV curing specialists GEW have announced their participation in the PRINTING United Expo at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, which runs from October 6-8, 2021.
PRINTING United is running under the promotional banner of ‘Let’s Bring the Printing Industry Together Again’ and promises to be one of the first major in-person events to make a successful return after the COVID pandemic. The show boasts one million square feet of solutions across all printing industry segments, with networking opportunities and events, and best-in-class educational sessions. With all of this in mind, a virtual ‘Expo Wrap-Up’ will also be available online immediately after the live expo, to enable visitors to review anything missed while on the show floor.
GEW will be showcasing their full product range with an emphasis on the latest LeoLED UV curing systems, particularly for sheetfed offset applications. Gary Doman, GEW’s International Sales Manager for Sheetfed, explains: “GEW is now the default UV curing solution for all RMGT presses and we are delighted to be able to report that our LeoLED UV system will be demonstrated live on an RMGT 9-series press at the GSNA booth, directly adjacent to GEW’s booth. This will give visitors an opportunity to witness the impressive power and flexibility of LeoLED at first-hand, and in a working environment.”
GEW will also feature their LED and mercury arc systems for a broad range of printing, coating and converting applications, including interchangeable ‘ArcLED’ systems which enable the use of both arc and LED curing technologies on the same press. GEW’s Business Development Manager, Jennifer Heathcote, comments: “GEW engineers UV curing systems for commercial, packaging, and graphics printing across offset, screen, digital inkjet, and flexo. If it can be cured with UV, we have the solution… and with over 20,000 GEW systems now installed globally, we have the design and engineering expertise to handle all manner of bespoke customer requirements.”
GEW’s Managing Director of Sales, Robert Rae, summarizes: “After so many cancelled and postponed exhibitions over the past 18 months, we are delighted to have a major exhibition on the horizon once more. GEW will be exhibiting at PRINTING United for the first time and it is a very exciting prospect, we have so much to offer and this show gives us a great opportunity to reach new customers from across the USA and beyond.”
Registration to this year’s expo is now open and includes access to a robust online portfolio of product demonstrations and educational sessions, to help visitors to better prepare for their time on the show floor.
