DMI to Hold Sustainable Design Seminar
DENVER, Colo.—The Design Management Institute (DMI) will hold a seminar on sustainable design Oct. 16-17. The seminar will be taught by Adam Richardson, director of product strategy, frog design, inc. and Sara Todd, senior design analyst, frog design, inc.
The topic of sustainable or “green” design is of increasing urgency to companies involved in product development. Recent surveys have shown that key customer segments are willing to pay more in order to buy greener products. This seminar, taught by two leaders of frog design’s sustainable design initiative, will address the fundamental issues of sustainable design and introduce a broad range of frameworks and concepts. Richardson guides strategy engagements for frog’s international roster of clients in the fields of consumer electronics and goods, wireless, and medical, and Todd is a leader in user-centered research and interaction design, as well as an educator on how behavioral changes and design can positively impact on our environment.
