CPP EXPO Approaches Sell-out Status
H.A. Bruno, organizer of CPP EXPO, to be held Oct. 29 to Nov. 2, 2006 at McCormick Place in Chicago is pleased to announce that space reservations continue at a brisk pace. The original space allocated for CPP EXPO is near 100 percent occupation with the anticipation of selling-out within the next 30 days. Participation in the Chicago debut of CPP EXPO will include some of the industry’s leading suppliers, which has fueled exhibit space sales and the estimated expansion of the converting exhibit space. These suppliers include: Ashe Converting Equipment, Comexi, Faustel, ITW, Karlville, and Nordmeccanica Group. There will also be an increased number of association pavilions (AIMCAL, ASI-ASC Adhesives, and CSiA) on the exhibit floor in 2006.
Operating in conjunction with PACK EXPO International and PROCESS EXPO, CPP EXPO together with these established events will fill the entire McCormick Place Complex in Chicago; one badge will allow attendees easy access to all expos and specialty pavilions. The North and South Buildings will focus on packaging equipment, technology and solutions; the Lakeside Center (formerly known as the East Building) will be the focal point for the thousands of converters and package printers anticipated. Occupying the Lakeside Center will be PACK EXPO’s Containers & Materials Pavilion, RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) and Contract Packaging Pavilions, and the Brand Protection Center, as well as CPP EXPO and PROCESS EXPO (the reformatted event launched with the new Food Processing Association - FPSA, a merging of IAFIS and FPMA trade associations).
Conference/educational programming for the converting/package printing marketplace has been crafted by leading industry associations including: AIMCAL, ASC, ASI, CSiA, CEMA, and more. These programs will complement the action on the exhibit floor and will take place at the Lakeside Center. In addition, the “CONFERENCE at PACK EXPO” features 63 sessions in four tracks over the course of three days with industry leaders’ keynotes highlighting the programming daily. Featured keynoters include Harris E. DeLoach Jr., chairman, president and CEO of Sonoco Products Company, and Dennis McGrew, president and CEO of NatureWorks LLC.
