Gallus Takes Road Show to Labelexpo Americas
ROSEMONT, Ill.—Gallus Inc. inaugurated its North American road show for its ECS 340 by making the first stop of its tour at Labelexpo Americas 2010.
The entire booth featured the road show theme with the new Gallus ECS 340 in operation, just as it will be presented at other stops following the show. Gallus is scheduling a road trip across the country to show as many people as possible about this press concept.
The five-color ECS 340 is a flexographic press with a technical granite core, servo drives, and front-loading sleeve systems. The press features easy setup and a very short web path for cost-efficient, high-quality commercial label printing. Everything about the Gallus ECS 340 is designed to help label printers save money without compromising printing quality. Specifically, it is designed for flexo-printed commodity labels.
Channeled Resources Group Partners with Greenwood Fuels
ROSEMONT, Ill.—Channeled Resources Group (CRG) has signed a supply agreement with Greenwood Fuels, based in Ohio. CRG will provide 10,000 tons/month of material for Greenwood's latest plant in Hamilton, Ohio, which will be processed to make fuel pellets. The Ohio plant will be fully operational by September 2011, but will begin to take some materials by the first quarter of 2011.
Typical materials used to make fuel pellets, including pressure-sensitive matrix waste, polycoated papers, flexible packaging, film waste, and other waste paper and films, are mixed together, shredded, and extruded into pellets.
The Greenwood Fuels sustainable alternative fuel replaces coal in industrial boiler applications, curbing greenhouse emissions.
