What began as a sandwich cart located in downtown Boston has evolved into Stacy's, the popular female-founded snack food brand best known for its line of pita chips. Recently, Stacy's launched its third annual Rise Project, which supports women entrepreneurs in the food industry. As the Stacy's website explains, the Rise Project selects five finalists to receive a $20,000 prize to support their businesses, with the grand prize winner receiving an added $100,000. Coinciding with the Rise Project initiative and Women' History Month, Stacy's has unveiled a line of limited edition packaging, all designed by female artists. The six designs represent various aspects of a woman entrepreneur's path to success, symbolizing inspiration, courage, grit, nourishment, success, and community. If you've seen a package you'd like to see featured in POW!, contact Sara Dunn at sdunn@napco.com.
