Bobst has recognized St-Laurent, Quebec-based Mitchel-Lincoln Packaging for setting a corrugated box production record in an eight-hour shift. The company achieved the feat after installing the BOBST 8.20 EXPERTLINE flexo folder/gluer.

AWT Labels & Packaging has installed a new 10-color, 52˝ Windmoeller & Hoelscher Miraflex Central Impression Cylinder press at its South Elgin, Ill., facility. With the new press, the company plans to grow in its existing market segments and add business in pet food and gourmet coffee.

Christoph Müller has been appointed to the position of managing director of KBA-Flexotecnica. Müller is also managing director of KBA-Digital & Web Solutions. Additionally, KBA has announced plans to open a demo center at its Würzburg, Germany facility this year.

The Flexographic Technical Association has announced that it has opened registration for its 2017 Forum and INFO*FLEX events. Forum will be held from April 30 to May 3 and INFO*FLEX will take place from May 1-2. Both events will be located in Phoenix.

"Trending Now" is the theme of the annual FTA Forum, which will be held from April 30-May 3 in Phoenix. The FTA has also announced that Paul Teachout of Nilpeter and Bob Coomes of Plastic Packaging Technologies will chair the event, which is being held at the Sheraton Grand Phoenix Hotel.
