AdamsTech has installed a Penta LTF-1713 dieboard laser at Kay Automotive Graphics, one of the industry leaders in creation and supply of distinctive automotive trim. Kay Automotive acquired the dieboard laser to augment its existing diemaking operations.

Letterhead Press, based in New Berlin, Wis., has recently purchased a new OmniFold 3000 folding and gluing system from Brandtjen & Kluge. The OmniFold 3000 is a modular converting system that is designed to meet current converting requirements and adapt to future needs.

Registration is now open for ICE USA, the International Converting Exhibition, which will be held in Orlando, Fla., from April 25 to 27, 2017. The expo will feature more than 250 exhibitors, multiple networking opportunities, educational sessions and more.

New Era Converting Machinery has participated as an exhibitor at each edition of ICE USA, the international converting exhibition. The company states that its involvement at each show has helped lead to at least one major sale. New Era will return to ICE USA 2017 in April.

Rotoflex is set to present a wide array of off-line finishing solutions at Labelexpo Americas, including the HSI 330 high-volume label slitter, VSI 330 slitter rewinder and VLI 700 inspection, slitting and rewind system.

James Martin, the former CEO of the Printing Association of Florida, has been appointed as president of MBO America. Martin has also worked at Unisource Worldwide and Heidelberg Americas.

At Labelexpo Americas, Martin Automatic will introduce the MLSW splicer for non-stop roll change of self-wound overlaminate films. The new splicer can be installed above a new or existing narrow web press.

To further strengthen the company's position as a global leader in offline finishing solutions, Rotoflex recently moved its Canadian regional facility to a larger, new 12,000-square-foot building near Toronto.

Kluge will demonstrate advancements in folding and gluing, laser cutting, foil stamping and UV coating at drupa 2016.
