Xeikon has reported a record sales year in North America with figures over 70% and it is now positioned for even greater success in 2017. In addition to the markets Xeikon is already established, the company is seeking growth in heat transfer, in-mold label and folding carton segments.

McFaddin Marketing has installed a Colordyne 3600 Series Laser Pro, which has allowed it to add just-in-time label printing and reduce its inventory of pre-printed labels by 75%. The new digital press also provides in-line finishing and laser diecutting capabilities.
Lucien De Schamphelaere, who founded Xeikon in 1988, passed away on January 20. He was 85. In addition to starting Xeikon, De Schamphelaere spent 40 years working for Agfa-Gevaert. He was the winner of several industry awards and is considered a pioneer of digital printing.
