TLMI Members Win World Label Awards
GLOUCESTER, Mass.—The Tag and Label Manufacturers Institute (TLMI, www.tlmi.com) announced that five of the association’s label-converter members have won first-place or honorable mention awards in the World Label Association Awards Competition. The awards were formally presented at the recent TLMI converter meeting in Indian Wells, California.
The winners of the World Label Association Awards Competition are chosen from a group comprised of first-place winners from association label competitions around the globe, including TLMI, the Japanese Label Foundation (JFLP), FINAT, and the Australian Label Association (LATMA). Label samples from companies are judged against each other in a variety of categories to determine an award recipient.
TLMI converter member award winners include:
• Taylor Made Labels, Inc., which won for the company’s ‘Daedaus Cellar Syrah 2006’ label;
• Collotype Labels, which won for the company’s ‘B Side’ label;
• McDowell Label & Screen Printing, which won for the company’s ‘Soquel Sangiovese’ label;
• CL&D Digital, which won for the company’s ‘Blue Diamond Almonds Lime n’ Chili Bags’ label; and
• Dow Industries, which won for the company’s ‘Dart Case’ label
TLMI converter member honorable mention includes:
• McDowell Label & Screen Printing, for its ‘Hemp2’ label.
