Tap Packaging Solutions Receives People's Choice Award

Tap Packaging Solutions, a Cleveland-based packaging manufacturer, won the People’s Choice Award at the Printing Industries of Ohio • N. Kentucky (PIANKO) awards dinner on Feb. 4 at the 100th Bomb Group in Cleveland. The award was given for the Tortuga 6oz Rum Turtle Carton for Tortuga Imports. Tap also received a Gold Award for this carton at the 2016 PIANKO Print Excellence Awards.

All 45 Gold Award winners of the 2016 PIANKO Print Excellence Awards were on display, and approximately 115 people voted for the “People’s Choice Award” during the event. Three representatives from Tap were there to accept the award.

“We were surprised and honored to win the ‘People’s Choice Award’ with so many great entries and prestigious printers represented,” Jordana Revella, vice president of sales and marketing at Tap, said. “The competition was strong. To win means a lot for us, and speaks to the quality and years of experience our machine operators have.”

The Tortuga folding carton was printed on 18 pt. SBS board with full flood UV coating, five color offset printing, registered emboss and gold foil stamping.
