Parelec Expands Operations with New Hires
ROCKY HILL, N.J.—Parelec Inc., a global leader in inks for fully additive printing of electronic circuits, has announced four key appointments. The company has hired a marketing manager, two chemists, and a technology specialist. According to Geva Barash, president and CEO of Parelec, “Interest in our RFID products and programs is growing steadily; these key additions to our global operations upgrade our customer and technical support efforts.”
Jonathan Potter has been named marketing manager of Parelec. He comes to the company with 25 years experience in marketing and sales in the packaging industry. He has an extensive background in a wide variety of printing processes and polymer substrates. Prior to joining Parelec he held positions at converters Mainline Holographics and The Creative Label Company and European film manufacturers Solvay and Renolit. He graduated from Brown University.
Rick Busch brings to Parelec more than 30 years experience as an R&D chemist in the Printing Ink and Paint and Coatings industries. His experience includes polymer synthesis as well as ink, paint and pigment dispersion formulation. Prior to joining Parelec Inc., Busch has worked for Sun Chemical, Lawter International, Thibaut and Walker, Hilton Davis and Magruder Color Company in R&D and lab management positions, as well as consulting to these industries for polymer synthesis. He has also been involved with the certification and maintenance process of ISO 9000 and is experienced in total quality management, Six Sigma and statistical process and quality control.
Also joining Busch as a chemist is Peter Hornish. He has held chemist positions with many diverse manufacturers including Exxon/Mobil, L’Oreal, QTI Inc., Pfizer, and Warner-Lambert. He has been with Parelec since February, initially as a research technician. He has been responsible for preparing solutions for use in inks, production of inks using milling equipment, QC testing of raw materials and finished products, printing of UHF and HF antenna designs, and performing research and development of new ink formulations. He holds an A.A. degree in chemical technology from County College of Morris.
Martin Czebotar recently joined Parelec as technology specialist. He brings to Parelec extensive experience in printing inks, architecture coatings and pressure sensitive adhesives. Czebotar’s expertise includes Design for Six Sigma black belt, lead auditor for ISO 9001:2000 and polymer chemistry. He was previously with Sun Chemical as a Product Development Specialist where he received several US patents while designing proprietary resins for the Graphic Arts industry. Czebotar holds a BS degree in Biochemistry from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD.
