PPC Releases TRENDS 2009 Report
SPRINGFIELD, Mass.—The Paperboard Packaging Council (PPC) has published TRENDS 2009, a definitive analysis of what lies ahead for the paperboard packaging industry. Free to PPC members, the insightful and comprehensive report is a tool to help translate market challenges into opportunities.
“As industries adapt to the new economic realities, one of the top question on everyone’s mind is ‘What happens next?’” said Ben Markens, president of PPC. “This report will help make it possible to plan for tomorrow with greater degrees of certainty and understanding.”
Members can access the report at www.ppcnet.org/trends. While the complete report is available only to PPC members, a summary report is available to the public.

TRENDS 2009 reflects the partnership of PPC and RISI, a leading provider of paperboard packaging industry market forecasts and analysis. The report is organized into three key sections covering business conditions, the folding carton industry outlook, and end-use markets. The end-use markets section presents forecast and trends analysis for 17 key market segments.
