Multi Packaging Solutions Selects Radius Solutions for MIS/ERP System
Chicago, Ill.—Radius Solutions Ltd. recently announced that Multi Packaging Solutions, a supplier of high-end print and packaging, is implementing PECAS Vision software to support its immediate and long-term strategic business objectives. The decision to implement a new business information management system was based on the need to standardize operations to a single integrated business platform to increase efficiencies and have immediate access to critical business information.
“In today’s world, you’re only as good as the information you can get your hands on,” said William Hogan, executive vice president and chief financial officer, Multi Packaging Solutions.
Over the last two years, MPS has acquired a number of leading organizations including The John Henry Company, Steketee-Van-Huis, Hilltop Press, and Hamilton Printing. The company requires a standard MIS/ERP system that fits its current operational needs and provides the infrastructure to allow it to quickly integrate acquired operations, while enabling seamless service for its customers. It also requires a system that will scale to support aggressive goals for topline growth, and the incorporation of processes to help improve profitability.
“Meeting goals is not only about operational excellence, but is also about being able to continuously monitor your company’s performance in real time. With the deployment of PECAS Vision, MPS will have a sound foundation for realizing their business objectives today and into the future,” said David Taylor, president and CEO of Radius Solutions.
Multi Packaging Solutions will implement the entire PECAS Vision Suite including sales and production estimating, order handling, production scheduling, shop floor data collection, material purchasing and inventory control, job costing, and financials. The application will be rolled out across all of the company’s operations, beginning with its Indianapolis and Louisville locations, which are scheduled to go live in July of this year. “Multi Packaging Solutions is a company that invests in state-of-the-art technology. We want to offer the best technology today, while making sure we are ready for tomorrow,” stated Hogan.
