IST METZ Set to Host UV Days 2017

The world's first, largest and longest established in-house event for UV and LED technology is entering the next round. From May 15-18, 2017, Nürtingen, Germany, will once again become the focus of the UV printing industry. IST METZ GmbH is inviting visitors for the eighth time, to an international exchange of knowledge at UV DAYS.

As a UV pioneer, IST METZ GmbH has been setting industry standards for 40 years. The company group provides systems with both UV lamps and LEDs. In 2002, IST METZ established the UV DAYS as the first international in-house event with a focus on UV printing.

At the in-house trade fair UV DAYS at IST METZ’s headquarters in Nürtingen, the UV specialist along with notable industry partners are presenting advanced solutions around UV, LED and IR. This time, one of the focal points will be on the printing of food packaging. As a result, a specially developed packaging, which is characterized by its multifunctionality and recyclability, will be the center of the event in 2017.

Daily live sheetfed, web and digital demos, lectures and visits complete the agenda and give visitors a comprehensive insight into the diverse possibilities of UV technology far greater than a presentation/lecture only event could ever offer.

In-house Trade Fair Meets UV Forum 2017

As part of the UV DAYS, IST METZ organizes UV Forum 2017 at the same time. At this parallel event, participants will get an overview of current developments in research and industry, focusing on the topic of lightweight construction.
