IGI Seminar on Digital Print Process Control
PEWAUKEE, Wis.—The Institute for Graphics and Imaging (IGI), an education and training organization funded by and dedicated to the printing and graphic arts industry, has announced a one-day training course on digital print process control. The course will be held on August 11, 2009, and will be conducted by Jim Raffel, the CEO of ColorMetrix Technologies. The course will be directed at general managers, prepress personnel, pressroom managers, or anyone responsible for ensuring that quality color is produced in the print shop, and will culminate with an actual press run on the IGI Kodak NexPress.
Announcing the new course, IGI Executive Director Ron Dahl commented: “IGI is pleased to welcome Jim Raffel to the IGI staff for a most timely course in digital print process control. Jim is a widely known and respected color expert, with extensive pressroom experience.”
