EMT International Introduces Heavy-Duty Dynamic Perforating

EMT International, a provider of digital finishing technology for the print and label industries, has announced the availability of its new dynamic perforating solution for heavy substrates, designed to meet the growing demands of high-speed inkjet production and heavier substrate processing.
Building on EMT’s long-standing leadership in dynamic perforating, the new technology expands capability beyond traditional lightweight stocks, enabling high-quality perforation on substrates up to 18-point. As digital print applications continue to evolve — from transactional and direct mail to lottery, fanfold, and specialty formats — printers are increasingly challenged to finish heavier materials without sacrificing quality, registration, or productivity.

The heavy-duty dynamic perforating solution is designed for inline and nearline configurations, making it well-suited for integration with modern inkjet presses as well as existing finishing lines. EMT’s dynamic perforating technology allows perforation patterns to be changed on the fly through software, eliminating the need for mechanical changeovers and enabling greater production flexibility.
