Digital Packaging Summit Announces Domino, HP, SCREEN, and Xeikon as Keynote Sponsors
The Virtual Digital Packaging Summit will take place from December 1-3, 2020. The sixth annual Digital Packaging Summit is an immersive virtual event that provides attendees with a focused conference program that covers the key topics needed to understand technology options, challenges, economics and critical decision-making criteria, while providing valuable peer-to-peer interaction and experiences. The 2020 event will incorporate live educational sessions, panels, featured and on-demand case studies, and a Solution Showcase featuring the latest in digital solutions.
Keynote sponsors include Domino, HP, SCREEN and Xeikon. A listing of all supporting sponsors can be found at www.digitalpackagingsummit.com.
“Domino first attended the Digital Packaging Summit in 2016. We felt that it was such a great event that we became a Keynote Sponsor the following year and have remained that way since,” said David Ellen, Global Divisional Director at Domino Digital Printing. “The case study presentations, 1:1 meetings, and networking with industry professionals has proven to be a successful format, and Domino is proud to be part of this event.”
“HP Indigo has been a sponsor, supporter, and advocate for the Digital Packaging Summit since its debut in 2015,” said Fernando Alperowich, Director of HP Indigo's Label and Packaging Team. “This year, more than ever, we felt it was important to be a keynote sponsor of the Summit as it shifts to a virtual format. Throughout 2020, the advantages and benefits of digital printing have become increasingly evident, as brands and converters have had to be nimble and flexible in their responses to the pandemic. We look forward to sharing our HP Indigo digital production technology that spans all packaging segments throughout the Digital Packaging Summit.”
The conference program will again be driven by Co-Chairs Marco Boer, VP of IT Strategies, and Kevin Karstedt, CEO of Karstedt Partners, along with a team of key advisory board members and speakers. They have developed a conference program that provides the right mix of expert insights and analysis, case studies, and panel discussions.
“SCREEN Americas is thrilled to be returning to the Digital Packaging Summit as a keynote sponsor," said Mark Schlimme, VP of Marketing for SCREEN Americas. "While we'll certainly miss seeing everyone in Ponte Vedra Beach this year, we are excited to share some of our latest developments for digital label and packaging production. It has been an exciting year at SCREEN, in which we have expanded on our Truepress platform of inkjet label presses and announced plans for solutions for the flexible packaging, folding carton and corrugated markets.”
“Xeikon is an avid supporter of the Digital Packaging Summit as it continues to educate and connect leading print providers and converters with key industry solution providers and consultants. The event truly helps people make connections and build meaningful business relationships,” said Donna Covannon, Director of Marketing NA at Xeikon.
“With all in-person events moving to digital platforms in 2020, I experienced the recent virtual Inkjet Summit. The platform is robust and provides a positive experience for both vendors and attendees. The Xeikon team looks forward to learning and networking with printers and converters at this year’s Virtual Digital Packaging Summit as we all work together to advance the market.”
