Just a few months ago, OMET Americas opened a new facility in Elk Grove Village, Ill., proving the company’s intent to strengthen its presence across the United States, thus providing its clients an ever closer, attentive, and timely pre- and post-sales service experience.
The open house organized at the OMET Americas facility was an opportunity to present the new Demo Center, where clients were able to see OMET’s iFlex label press in action and actually touch its print quality.
The event was very successful, with more than 100 people in attendance, including clients, partners and industry journalists, who were able to witness the first presentation in America of the iFLEX label printing press. OMET’s staff performed several printing demonstrations on the iFLEX where the participants were personally involved in order to experience how easy and quick it is to set the register and print with the machine.
The appreciation expressed by the people who took part in the event was yet another confirmation of the great success that the new OMET label press is achieving worldwide. The iFlex will be starring at the next Labelexpo Americas event which will be held in Rosemont, Ill. from September 13 to 15.
Furthermore, the iFlex has recently received a nomination for the Label Global Awards 2016, in the category “Award for Innovation,” introduced on the world market in 2015 for companies with fewer than 300 employees. The award ceremony will take place at the Rosemont Theatre in Chicago on September 13, during the Labelexpo Americas trade fair.
During Labelexpo Americas’ three-day event, an XFlex X6 will be displayed alongside the iFLEX. OMET’s X6 is the best-selling machine in the narrow-web package printing industry and it is considered a benchmark in terms of high-tech innovation and pure quality performance.
