Record turnout for Paperboard Packaging Council's production "bootcamp" in Massachusetts

SPRINGFIELD, MA, Dec. 15, 2010 (Press Release) - On December 7-8, 2010, the Paperboard Packaging Council (PPC) hosted the Folding Carton Boot Camp workshop at PPC headquarters in Springfield, MA. Twenty-four participants and twelve speakers attended the workshop - a record attendance for this event. Industry experts explained the packaging production process, beginning with how paperboard is made, on to inks and coatings, prepress, CAD, layout, graphics, presses, tooling, embossing, stamping, stripping, finishing, gluing, windowing, and finally, automatic packaging equipment.
