Sakurai to Introduce ScreenFoil LQM 2015 In-Line Hot Foil Stamper at PRINTING United
Sakurai, the global leader in sheetfed screen printing technology, will introduce the LQM 105 in-line hot foil stamper to the North American market in booth 1420 at PRINTING United, Oct. 23 - 25 in Dallas. The product was first launched at the Sakurai Factory Open House in Gifu, Japan.
At PRINTING United, Sakurai will conduct live demonstrations of a Maestro MS-102AX cylinder screen press equipped with a Natgraph UV dryer, stacker and new LQM 105 in-line hot foil stamper. The cost-effective ScreenFoil LQM 105 brings a new level of flexibility, quality and performance when combined with any size or vintage Sakurai screen press. It is perfect for PSP, folders, leaflets, business cards, loyalty cards, magazines, book covers, packaging, promotional items, labels, roll-to-roll, greeting card, automotive, appliance and plastic card applications.
“Sakurai is over-the-top excited about the PRINTING United trade show and the opportunity to present the ScreenFoil hot foil stamper to the North American market,” said David Rose, Vice President, Sakurai USA Inc. “The use of the screen printing press to deposit the image in registration allows the heated foil to be applied in any size or image configuration. No dies — just print the image you want foiled, UV cure, and then pass through the foil applicator. Fine line, 3D dimensional coverage foil is now controlled by the screen press. If you are looking for greater use of your Sakurai or other existing screen press, add foil to your list of services to the graphic arts industry.”
The featured Sakurai Maestro MS-102AX is the screen press of choice for a myriad of specialty finishing applications such as specialty effects foil, glitter, soft touch, flood, soft spot coating and more. The 29.625-by-41.5-inch ultra-high precision MS-102AX operates at speeds up to 4,000 IPH and accepts stock from .003 to .032 inches thick. The Maestro is capable of printing on a wide range of substrates such as plastic film for electronic applications, membrane switches, display panels and touch screens, as well as paper, board and foil.
Sakurai experts from the U.S. and Japan will be on-hand at PRINTING United to assist booth visitors with designing a fully automated screen printing, drying and curing system, including LED UV and now ScreenFoil hot foil finishing for their specific requirements.
