Luxembourg-headquartered Flint Group announced the appointment of Doug Aldred as president of the Packaging & Narrow Web – Europe and North America effective immediately. In addition to his new role, Aldred also will assume responsibility for the global Packaging and Narrow Web strategy and will report directly to Antoine Fady, chief executive officer. McDowell was to become president of Flint Group’s Global Packaging/Narrow Web business, the company announced that McDowell has said he regrettably will not be able to take up the position for personal and family reasons. After a sabbatical leave, he will be returning to the United States to pursue other interests outside of the printing inks industry, and wishes Flint Group continued success in the future. Luxembourg – Flint Group is pleased to announce the promotion of Mario Busshoff as President, Flint Group Flexographic Products division with effect from 1st January 2011. As part of his enlarged role Mario Busshoff will join Flint Group's Executive Management Team (EMT) and will report directly to Antoine Fady, who has been appointed as CEO of Flint Group from 1st January 2011. Mario Busshoff, at present Vice President and General Manager of the Flexographic Products division, joined Flint Group through the Day International acquisition in 2007.
