The Label Printing Industries of America (LPIA) has announced that John “Jack” Turan, Team Leader, Hammer Packaging Corporation, is the 10th inductee into the LPIA Hall of Fame.

Diamond Packaging was founded in 1911 as a supplier of folding carton packaging materials for the garment and bakery industries. The company has remained faithful to its roots in folding cartons and, today, manufactures paperboard and plastic packaging and provides contract packaging services for –Fortune 500 companies around the world.

The Sustainable Green Printing Partnership has announced that six printing facilities are now certified as SGP Printers: Fineline Printing Group, Indianapolis, Ind.; Pictura Graphics, Minneapolis, Minn.; Pratt Corporation, Indianapolis, Ind.; The John Roberts Company, Minneapolis, Minn.; Monroe Litho, Rochester, N.Y.; and most recently, Meisel, Carrollton, Texas.
