The largest event for the label, product decoration and converting industry in India took place on 8 to 11 December at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Labelexpo India was hailed a great success with 6,054 visitors in attendance, a figure that was up by 27 percent from the show in 2008.

The show achieved its primary role - to gather the best examples of machinery and materials from a wide variety of international and Indian manufacturers and enable visitors to compare technology and make their decisions on future investments.

For the past several years I have been teaching professional English for the printing industry at the University of Wuhan, China. I had delivered lectures there while I was president of the NPES, The Association for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies.
