Bryce Corp. has announced a $10 million investment in its packaging division, expanding its capacity and capabilities while adding 20 new jobs. With a variety of new equipment coming on board, new jobs will be added to Bryce's locations in Memphis, Tenn. and Searcy, Ark.

In an announcement on Tuesday, June 9, BOBST revealed its new vision for the packaging industry and its latest equipment for folding cartons, flexible packaging, and labels.

Yellowstone Plastics purchased a new Fusion C printing press and 2500 T Meridian laser anilox cleaner from Paper Converting Machine Company (PCMC). The addition of the Fusion C will make all presses at Yellowstone Plastics sleeved, reducing changeover and setup times between jobs.

With its annual Forum moved to a virtual format this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) was still able to connect members of the flexo industry yesterday with an online awards ceremony and multiple educational sessions.

Identifying the high-growth market of direct printing on corrugated board, Koenig & Bauer has launched the CorruCUT sheetfed flexo press. The Klingele Group, a paper and packaging company based in Germany, has been announced as the first company to install the new CorruCUT press.

Legacy Flexo Corp., a Green Bay, Wis.-based printer specializing in flexographic printing on film, paper, and non-wovens, has invested in a second Fusion C flexo press from Paper Converting Machine Company (PCMC). The efficiency of the Fusion C, as well as Legacy Flexo's prior experience with PCMC, were deciding factors in the purchase of the new press.

To further expand its footprint in the North American folding carton segment, Heidelberg has announced the integration of Heidelberg Web Carton Converting with Heidelberg USA. The integration will allow Heidelberg Web Carton Converting customers to access both companies' portfolios from a single source.
