Low migration ink continues to improve across packaging segments and printing methods.

During FTA INFO*FLEX 2017, Sun Chemical will introduce a new portfolio of eco-friendly inks and showcase how its coatings, inks and HD plate technology can produce packaging that pops off the shelf while enhancing pressroom efficiency.

INX International, which completed a $4 million expansion at its Charlotte, N.C. facility last year, has completed the finishing touches connected to the project. Production in the Charlotte facility impacts four continents — North America, South America, Asia and Europe.

Toyo Ink will be showcasing its ink portfolio at drupa, including solutions for flexo printing, UV/EB curable printing, retort pouch production and eco-friendly water-based systems.

Siegwerk has launched the new SICURA Nutriflex LEDTec ink series, the first LED UV flexo inks for food and pharmaceutical packaging applications.

INX International will feature a wide array of packaging inks at drupa 2016, including solutions for flexible packaging, corrugated board and digital inkjet.
