FSEA Honors John Tinnon with the 2007 Lifetime Achievement Award
Actively involved with the FSEA since its inception in 1992, Tinnon served on the FSEA Board of Directors for nearly 10 years, two of which were served as chairman. Over the course of those years, many notable projects and events came to light including a national seminar series, various survey results, the inaugural FSEA National Convention held in Chicago, a comprehensive glossary of terminology, the Pantone Foil Selector Guide, A Different Breed: The Designer’s Guide to Foil Stamping and Embossing, a formal membership directory, the inception of the Gold Leaf Awards Competition, and the introduction of InsideFinishing magazine. Today, Tinnon remains on the board of Graphic Converting, Inc. Tinnon will be honored at the Gold Leaf Awards Banquet on May 2, 2007, in conjunction with the IADD/FSEA Odyssey, Milwaukee, Wis.
