North Carolina Governor Bev Perdue and executives from RockTenn Co., Norcross, Ga., have announced a plan for the consumer packaging company to expand and relocate its folding carton operation in Marion, N.C. According to a news release issued by the state of North Carolina, RockTenn expects to invest around $23 million in 2011 and 2012 and will create 124 jobs.
