Diamond Packaging, based in Rochester, N.Y., has an annual tradition of designing and producing embellished calendars to send to customers, prospects, suppliers, industry professionals and media contacts. The staying power of a high-quality, year-long piece of decor is the result of a brilliant marketing strategy showcasing Diamond's production capabilities.
This year's calendar was produced using the following equipment: an Agfa Avalon N8-24 thermal platesetter; a Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 106 Offset Press with Compact Foilers cold foil unit; a Bobst BMA Hot Foil Stamper/Embosser; and a Bobst 102 CER Diecutter/Blanker/Stripper.
Huber Group provided four-color process inks, while Clearwater Paper provided the paperboard backer and shipper. ITW Foils provided the cold foil that was used for the piece and Metal Magic provided the embossing dies. The piece was designed in-house by Renee Geurcio.
Editor's Note: Dennis Bacchetta's name should actually be pronounced as "Bakketa" rather than the pronunciation in the video.
