Flint Group Packaging will increase the prices of all its packaging products sold by the Flexible Packaging, Paper & Board, and Narrow Web businesses. Further to multiple announcements advising of the worsening market conditions throughout 2021, the group has continued to weather unprecedented raw material, packaging, energy, and freight cost increases.

Luxembourg-headquartered Flint Group announced the appointment of Doug Aldred as president of the Packaging & Narrow Web – Europe and North America effective immediately. In addition to his new role, Aldred also will assume responsibility for the global Packaging and Narrow Web strategy and will report directly to Antoine Fady, chief executive officer. Aldred joined Flint Ink in 1994 (one of the group of companies that merged to form Flint Group) as a manufacturing manager within Canada and in 1998 was appointed as general manager, Sheetfed Europe. With Flint-Schmidt he became Global VP for the Sheetfed division and in
