Four Nordson communities participated in the Paperboard Packaging Council’s (PPC) Trees Into Cartons, Cartons Into Trees (TICCIT) program during the month of April. In honor of Earth Day and Arbor Day, the educational portion of the program outlined how trees are used to produce paperboard packaging and the process for recycling used paperboard to extend the life of the paperboard and preserve trees.

As the new millennium unfolds, it’s becoming more apparent that one of a consumer goods manufacturer’s most important assets is its brand. Consumers are willing to pay a premium price for their favorite brands, which translates into both profit and marketplace power.
