SANTA ANA, Calif.—Markzware announced that it has filed a lawsuit in the Federal Court of Los Angeles against ENFOCUS SOFTWARE, Inc., a California corporation; ARTWORK SYSTEMS GROUP, N.V. a Belgian corporation; and ARTWORK SYSTEMS, N.V., a Belgian corporation. The lawsuit alleges that products manufactured and sold by the defendants infringe upon the Markzware U.S. Patent No. 5,963,641 for a ‘Device and method for examining, verifying, correcting and approving electronic documents prior to printing, transmission or recording.’ Markzware preflight products for digital documents include FlightCheck Professional, FlightCheck Designer, FlightCheck Studio, FlightCheck Workflow and FlightCheck Online. New downloadable packaging specifications from GWG

GHENT, Belgium—The Ghent PDF Workgroup (GWG), an international association that helps produce and exchange digital documents for the publishing workflow, announced the availability of new GWG Packaging Specifications, offering best practices for PDF file exchange in packaging applications.
