Oliver Inc. has invested in a seven-color, 57˝ Koenig & Bauer Rapida 145 press with UV for its facility in Hauppauge, N.Y. The device is expected to drive production and capacity by 20%.

Since its installation in 2017, Cedar Graphics' Koenig & Bauer Rapida 106 LED press has decreased makeready times by 50% and has reduced makeready stock by 35% to 40%. It has also made the Hiawatha, Iowa-based company more efficient with an improved turnaround time, and it has brought in more short-run packaging work for the pharmaceutical market.

Curtis Packaging, a Sandy Hook, Conn.-based package printer serving a variety of high-end, luxury market segments, has seen significant sales and production improvements since installing a 15-unit Koenig & Bauer Rapida 106 press in 2018. The press has helped Curtis Packaging increase its sales by 20% in 2019.
