UV curing specialist GEW is celebrating its 30th Anniversary this month. Today, GEW designs and manufactures mercury arc and LED UV curing systems for applications all across the printing, coating, and converting industries.

GEW will launch its latest innovation at Labelexpo Europe 2019, the LeoLED UV Curing System. Features of the LeoLED UV Curing System include a 50mm width window, which gives a long dwell time and is waterproof-sealed for easy cleaning. It is also resilient to dust and ink ingress.

Mathew Jones, an experienced printing industry veteran with more than 30 years in sales, is joining IST America Corp.'s sales team. He will assume the position of national web sales specialist and focus on the narrow web and wide web markets.

IST METZ will host UV Days 2017 from May 15-18 at its headquarters in Nürtingen, Germany. The event will feature an in-house trade fair with IST products and products from industry partners. The UV Forum 2017 will also provide educational opportunities.

Baldwin Technology has acquired Air Motion Systems, a leader in LED UV curing technology. As part of the acquisition, Air Motion Systems will rebrand as AMS SPECTRAL UV and will be combined with Baldwin's UV division.
