Precision Digital Printing, a corrugated startup company in Jonesboro, Ark., has installed an EFI Nozomi C18000 and plans on adding a second. The company uses the Nozomi to digitally print corrugated sheets provided by its customers, which are then returned to be converted.

Barberán hosted an open house event on February 12 and 13 at its Castelldefels, Spain facility near Barcelona. Attendees received a demonstration of the Barberán Jetmaster 1750, a single-pass digital press for the corrugated segment.

Bay Cities, a North American packaging and design company, has announced its acquisition of a Barberán Jetmaster 1750 single-pass, digital corrugated printer. The Barberán will provide Bay Cities with further personalization and customization capabilities.

Corrugated Synergies International added its first EFI Nozomi C18000 digital press last year to its digital division, Visual Impact PrePrint. In 2019, CSI is on pace to become the world’s largest user of EFI Nozomi presses, with a second press scheduled for installation at a facility in the Las Vegas area, and a third press to be installed at a yet-to-be-revealed location.

Fujifilm has announced the launch of the new J Press 750 S, a B2-format inkjet press. Though the press comes standard as a commercial printing platform, it can also be a packaging solution, able to print up to 24-pt. board stock.
