At Labelexpo Americas, attendees were provided with Mouvent digital label print samples based around Mouvent Cluster technology, a system that uses lightweight clusters instead of fixed size print bars by color, arranged in a modular, scalable matrix.

More than 300 converters attended a three-day event at the Mark Andy European showroom and demonstration facility in Warsaw, Poland. On display was technology that showed how hybrid can be applied to the label market with maximum effect.

Nilpeter has announced that three of its presses will be making their U.S. debuts at this year's Labelexpo Americas in Chicago. The FA, PANORAMA Hybrid and the new FB-350 will all be on display throughout the show.

The OMET XJet powered by Durst will be on display in OMET's booth at Labelexpo Americas. The press combines the OMET X6's capabilities with the Durst Tau RSC inkjet platform. The OMET iFlex will also be on display, showcasing its features that make label printing easier.

At Labelexpo Americas, Mark Andy will be showcasing a variety of new technologies from across its product lines. This includes the latest additions to its Performance Series line of flexo presses, the hybrid Digital Series HD, and the latest from Mark Andy Print Products and Rotoflex.

The fourth-annual Digital Packaging Summit will be held from November 5-7 in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., building on its mission of connecting digital packaging equipment suppliers and package printers for three days of education and networking. Atlas Die, Barberán, MPS and Label Traxx are the latest suppliers to join the 2018 event as sponsors.

Eying the multitude of opportunities in the packaging segment of the printing industry, Canon made its first foray into the label market with the release of the Océ LabelStream 4000. Marco Boer, VP of I.T. Strategies and inkjet printing expert, was in attendance at the product launch event in Poing, Germany, and shares his insights on the new press.

With an eye toward the label market, Canon has announced the launch of the new Océ LabelStream 4000 series, an industrial-scale UV inkjet press with optional flexo printing, embellishment and finishing units.

SCREEN announced the recent installation of the Truepress Jet L350UV inkjet label press at Ample Industries, Inc., a full-service label converter located in the Springfield, Mo., metropolitan area.

Color-Logic has certified the Nilpeter Panorama DP-3 digital press for use with the Color-Logic process for label applications.
