Utah Paper Box and Warneke Paper Box Join Independent Carton Group
The Independent Carton Group (ICG), a consortium of 22 independently-owned and operated folding carton manufacturers, is happy to announce the addition of two new member companies, Utah Paper Box and Warneke Paper Box. These distinguished companies join the ICG, bringing their respected experience and expanding the group's competencies.
"Due to the increasing trend of private equity groups acquiring independent manufacturers, those independents wishing to remain independent are finding increasing value in aligning themselves through our collective programs," said Jay Willie, ICG Executive Director. Utah Paper Box, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, is a fifth-generation, family-owned packaging company established in 1914. It was initially called Union Label but was renamed Utah Paper Box in 1922. A custom packaging company that produces rigid boxes and folding cartons, Utah Paper Box predominantly manufactures folding cartons.
