TLMI Announces Association’s Goals and Agenda for 2015
GLOUCESTER, MA—March 3, 2015—TLMI has recently announced the association’s goals and agenda for the 2015 calendar year. Central to the association’s objectives in 2015 is the continuation and further development of TLMI’s brand promise: To deliver industry insights that drive the business success of the association’s converter and supplier members.
The TLMI Board of Directors is pleased to announce the recent release of the association’s first North American Digital Label Study. The report is a complimentary resource for all TLMI members and provides a comprehensive overview of the North American marketplace for digital production printing. The study provides TLMI members with a series of converter benchmarking metrics, brand owner feedback and analysis, installation and market sizing data, and projections per major digital printing format to 2020.
The TLMI Converter Meeting will take place in Sea Island, GA from March 9-12, where the winners of this year’s Eugene Singer Awards for Management Excellence will be announced and honored. The Eugene Singer Award recognizes excellence in business management measured and defined by an established set of growth and profitability ratios through participation in the TLMI Management Ratio Study.
TLMI will be participating in Tarsus’ Label & Packaging Printing Industry Day on June 25 in Milwaukee. TLMI Chairman Dan Muenzer, vice president of marketing for Constantia Flexibles’ Labels Division and Marketing Committee Co-Chair Cindy White, president and CEO of Channeled Resources Group, will be presenting on the benefits of TLMI membership and providing details on specific resources TLMI provides its members.
From September 1-3, the TLMI Technical Conference will take place in Chicago. The annual conference is a two day forum featuring technical speakers and business experts discussing significant issues and opportunities in the narrow web printing industry.
The TLMI Annual Meeting will take place in Colorado Springs, CO from October 8-11, where the winners of the Converter of the Year, Supplier of the Year and Environmental Awards will be announced. Also announced at the Annual Meeting will be the winners of the 2015 Label Awards Competition. The competition recognizes technical achievement in all areas of the narrow web industry.
In the spirit of international collaboration, TLMI will also be participating in the FINAT European Label Forum June 11-13 in Amsterdam, in addition to Labelexpo Europe held September 29-October 2 in Brussels. On September 28, TLMI Chairman Dan Muenzer, will be representing the association at the L9 meeting. L9 is the alliance of global label associations, formulating policies and strategic information in connection with global matters affecting the worldwide label industry.
Further initiatives include the TLMI L.I.F.E. Certification program and the association’s Biannual Index & Trend Report. Published in June and December, the Index & Trend report features industry forecasts and projections for each of the narrow web end-use sectors in addition to tracking TLMI converter members’ growth against major economic indices.
