Sirrus and Sun Chemical Partner on Inks and Pigments

Sirrus, Inc. and Sun Chemical, a subsidiary of DIC Corp., will jointly develop novel, high performance materials for the inks and pigments market using Sirrus' Chemilian and Forza monomer platform.

This partnership draws on Sirrus' uniquely reactive functional alkene chemistry and Sun Chemical’s global technology and market leadership position in inks and pigments.

“The advent of a unique monomer/polymer platform is a rare occurrence and we are excited about the opportunity this represents for us and our customers,” said Russell Schwartz, chief technology officer of Sun Chemical.
